Climate Action Plan

In 2018, the St. Louis Park city council adopted a Climate Action Plan with the ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality — having a net zero carbon footprint — by 2040. Progress towards these goals can be viewed on the Environmental Stewardship dashboard. Additional sustainability resources, maps and dashboards can all be viewed here

Climate equity map

Explore the climate equity map, a new tool where residents can explore demographic, climate impact and energy data of the city. The map helps city staff focus on environmental justice in their work. 

Environment and sustainability commission

In order to advance sustainable programs and provide direction for residents, business owners and city staff, the city council created the St. Louis Park Environment and Sustainability Commission. The commission, which is open to residents and local business representatives, is dedicated to issues related to environmental stewardship and sustainability in St. Louis Park.
